All in all, there are a bunch of different ways to collect dog lapel pins, and it’s purely up to your own personal taste. I’ve always had a thing for Golden Retrievers, and I’ve seen a few pins around that I’d like to start a collection with.

Many find that collecting dog lapel pins is a way to pass the time, and engage yourself in something you’re truly passionate about – Man’s best friend!

Let’s go over a few points to think about when collecting dog lapel pins, shall we?

What Type of Dog Lapel Pins Interest you?

What kind of dogs are your favorites? Write them down, and look for dog lapel pins matching your favorite breeds of dogs. A diverse collection is always a great idea, but sticking to one breed of dog lapel pin is a great way to keep focused on one particular subject at a time, and obtain the coolest pins of your most liked breed.

How Rare Would You Like the Pins to be?

Lapel pins date way back, and chances are there are some antique, and very rare dog lapel pins. Take a look around to see what fits within your budget to determine if you prefer to stick with newer, recently made pins, or whether you’d like to search high and low for those super-rare dog lapel pins your grandmother may have owned as a little girl.

Remember, have fun building your dog lapel pin collection, and pick up anything that catches your eye and your interest. Collecting is all about having fun, and I find that the more pins you have, the more fun things get!
